We brought a huge group here and reserved several spaces. We had a great experience. It was very easygoing and they treated us well. Restrooms were close by and you can take your boats etc. out on the water. Thanks for having us!

First time here last weekend….and thoroughly enjoyed varieties of things in this place. Can’t ask for more !!! Camping area is clean and nice, and surprisingly insects free, wonderful lake with cool breeze all day long. Very friendly people in the reception. Plenty of people/visitors to the park around to enjoy day time, lonely quiet time at the night, boat rides during the day (bit costly, but worth it)……we are already planning our next trip here soon!

Tent Camping Tips

We want you and your family to have a great time with us.  Here are several tips for Rv safety.

Plan ahead

Plan ahead and keep a checklist logged as items pop into your head.

Pack light

Make it easy on yourself and try to pack lightly.  What can you live without for a day?

Snack time

Foods that do not have to be refrigerated or cooked might be best for your trip.

Dog toys

Sometimes dogs have trouble handling new environments.  Bring items to soothe them and keep them busy.

Be courteous

Using headlights while parked at night can bother other campers and is not recommended.

Stay safe

If you’ll be near the wooded areas, learn what common poisonous plants and insects look like.

See the stars

Avoid camping under trees that look old or dead as branches could break and cause a serious injury

Fire safety

Pitch your tent away from fire smoke.  Heavy wind can also flip your tent, so try to avoid it.

Tent time

Smaller tents have less space but are typically easier to transport.  Decide whats best based on your needs.

Snug as a bug

Trees provide shade but also can be more susceptible to critters like spiders, so it’s not a good idea to camp directly next to one.

Protect your snacks

Do not leave food open or out as it could attract animals or insects.
